This was an amazin party weekend! Most people in The Netherlands celebrate the queens birthday on April 30 ('Koninginnedag') and the night before ('Koninginnenacht'). Its a national holiday in The Netherlands, Aruba and The Netherlands Antilles.
Lots of people visit the 'vrijmarkt' (literally 'freemarket'), a day in the year that allowes anyone to sell anything in the streets. Most people wear orange clothes, the national color. I don't like this market, i'm there to party! And... unfortunatly, i don't have orange clothes.
On sundaynight (Koninginnenacht) I went to Utrecht to visit the Caz (radiostation) party in the neighbourhoud of the Dom tower. The weather was very nice, not cold at all! When it closed at 0.30am, my friends and I moved on to the Stairway to Heaven.
Monday (Koninginnedag) was for me the day to visit Amsterdam! I've read in the newspaper that 500.000 people were partying in and around the city center. The great music of Slam!FM brought me to the Rembrandtplein. After dancing there for a few hours we went to the Pizzahut for a dinner. The pizzahut is close to the Museumplein where Radio 538 gave a concert with various artists like Krezip, Gerard Joling, G-Spott, DJ Jean, I.O.S and my favourite DJ, DJ Tiesto!! Dancing with 80.000 people in the open air is really amazin! Especially with the fantastic weather of that day.
