Recently I was installing MOSS 2007 SP1 in a virtual machine (lab environment). The procedure for installing a language pack was not clear for me. My confusion was caused by the slipstreamed version of WSS 3.0 SP1/MOSS 2007 SP1 which is available online.
I expected that when I download and install the English version of WSS 3.0 SP1, that I have to download and install the Dutch version of the 'WSS 3.0 Language Pack SP1'. Or the 'Dutch MOSS 3.0 Language Pack SP1'. But the installer says that the update cannot be applied. Because first you have to install the RTM version of language packs, followed by the SP1 version of that language pack.
